It will then roll on to other cities in the US, Europe and Asia before culminating in Tokyo early next year.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"&gt;Highlights of the tour include a digitally restored version of &lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"&gt;Tricksters: The Last Days Of The Samurai Era&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;, directed by Yuzo Kawashima in 1957.&amp;nbsp; instant watch queue this weekend I decided to re-watch Branded to Kill. &amp;nbsp;To my surprise I found that Criterion has taken the effort to remaster the film for the first time in it's original anamorphic widescreen. &amp;nbsp;Other noticable differences from Criterion's&amp;nbsp;subpar dvd release include the inclusion of the company's new C logo and improved subtitling font. &amp;nbsp;I have not yet noticed if Criterion went to the trouble of retranslating the subtitles, which like the picture quality of the original dvd release where shabby first generation Criterion laser disc rips. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; have posted their review of the action noir&amp;nbsp;film &lt;strong&gt;Bunraku&lt;/strong&gt; which, &lt;em&gt;"plays like the bastard child of Seijun Suzuki and the Wachowski Brothers and of the two key influences, the Suzuki is the most immediately apparent." &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;The review goes on to call &lt;strong&gt;Bunraku&lt;/strong&gt;, &lt;em&gt;"Theatrical in the extreme, one of the most heavily art designed English language films made in decades." &lt;/em&gt;Even though I missed this film while at the Toronto International Film Festival this year, I definatly feel that &lt;strong&gt;Bunraku&lt;/strong&gt;
