REVIEW - Bunrake rocks TIFF Midnight Madness Suzuki style

The good people over at Twitch Film have posted their review of the action noir film Bunraku which, "plays like the bastard child of Seijun Suzuki and the Wachowski Brothers and of the two key influences, the Suzuki is the most immediately apparent."

The review goes on to call Bunraku, "Theatrical in the extreme, one of the most heavily art designed English language films made in decades." Even though I missed this film while at the Toronto International Film Festival this year, I definatly feel that Bunraku may just tickle the fancy of many a discerning Suzuki fans . Here's a link to the full review.
